October 15 – 17, 2004: Donnaueschinger Musiktage
The official launch of Auracle took place with a broadcast direct
from the Donaueschingen Musiktage on Friday evening, October 15th. A live sonic tour through Auracle's
active ensembles was on the air for a quarter hour from 9 PM.

October 12, 2004: ACM Multimedia Conference
A poster titled "Tools Used While Developing Auracle: A Voice-Controlled, Networked Instrument" was presented at the ACM Multimedia Conference in New York. The paper is available here.

September 17, 2004: Auracle was featured in Psihoza i smrt autora: Algoritam
Ana Vujanovic, Maja Pelevic, B. Djordjev, S. Ilic, and M. Mirkovic presented Psihoza i smrt autora: Algoritam in the
Belgrade International Theater Festival and utilized Auracle
as a part of the sound environment.
August 23 – 24, 2004: ReadMe Software Art and Cultures Conference
Kristjan Varnik will give a presentation about Auracle at the ReadMe conference in Aarhus, Denmark. More information about the conference is available here.
July 1, 2004: Preview Release Launched
We launched a preview release of Auracle on this site. This was a featured installation for
Sommerfest at Akademie Schloss Solitude on July 3rd.
June 3 – 5, 2004: New Interfaces for Musical Expression (NIME)
C. Ramakrishnan presented a poster, "The Architecture of Auracle: a Real-Time, Distributed, Collaborative Instrument" at the NIME conference at Shizuoka University of Art and Culture in Hamamatsu, Japan. The paper is available here.
